A growing real estate investment firm focused on multifamily and office assets is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to work directly with the principal and run day-to-day operations across the portfolio. This individual will oversee acquisitions, asset management, and financial and operational execution across the firm, ensuring deals are sourced, closed, and managed effectively while building strong internal systems and reporting.
Responsibilities

Oversee the full lifecycle of investments from sourcing and underwriting through closing and ongoing asset management

Partner with the principal on acquisitions strategy, deal structuring, and investment decisions

Manage performance across a portfolio of multifamily and office assets, including budgets, business plans, and reporting

Oversee accounting functions, cash flow, and financial reporting in coordination with internal staff and external accountants

Serve as the operational lead across lenders, brokers, attorneys, and third-party vendors

Oversee third-party property management and ensure strong communication, reporting, and performance

Build and refine internal systems, reporting, and processes as the firm continues to scale

Drive execution and accountability across deals, timelines, and portfolio initiatives
Requirements

7 years of real estate experience with exposure to multifamily and/or office assets

Strong background in acquisitions and asset management

Solid understanding of underwriting, deal flow, and portfolio performance

Experience overseeing accounting, reporting, and cash management for real estate assets

Highly organized operator with strong attention to detail and follow-through

Ability to work directly with ownership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Salary : $200,000 - $230,000
