Summary
A growing consumer products company is seeking a Director of Accounts Receivable to oversee all AR operations, deductions, and retail customer account management. This individual will manage the full receivables cycle across major national retailers, supervise a small team, and ensure accurate cash application, deduction handling, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on AR experience in wholesale/retail environments, and a high level of ownership and trustworthiness.
Responsibilities

Oversee the full AR function, including daily cash review, deductions, and chargeback analysis

Investigate discrepancies and resolve customer issues

Supervise a small remote team handling mid-level accounts and clerical work

Manage customer documentation and internal coordination with operations and finance

Monitor AR aging and maintain clean, accurate receivables

Prepare monthly projections for recoveries, write-offs, and AR adjustments

Maintain accurate AR reporting and support ongoing process improvements
Requirements

AR experience in wholesale, retail, or inventory-based environments (preferred)

Strong understanding of deductions, chargebacks, and large retail customer workflows
