The EHS & Equipment Calibration Clerk plays a key role in maintaining compliance and ensuring the proper calibration of equipment across the facility. This position supports both equipment calibration and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs.Ideal for someone who values organization, consistency, and accuracy, this role is primarily administrative and coordination-based, with occasional hands-on technical and inspection tasks. Part-Time | 24 hours per week | $25.00/hourSchedule: Monday, Thursday one additional weekday (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Key ResponsibilitiesCalibration & Maintenance CoordinationCreate and maintain master equipment records within SAP.Schedule, track, and update equipment calibration and maintenance activities.Document completed work to ensure all records are accurate and audit-ready.Communicate with equipment owners regarding upcoming calibration or maintenance needs.Coordinate with external calibration vendors for onsite or offsite services.Prepare, package, and ship equipment to vendors for calibration.Perform light preventive maintenance or functional testing on equipment as assigned.EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) InspectionsConduct weekly and monthly facility safety inspections, including:Safety shower and eyewash station testingFire suppression and extinguisher checksEmergency lighting verificationRecord results promptly and maintain compliance documentation. QualificationsRequiredBasic technical understanding or experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or equipment-related environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and follow structured schedulesComfortable conducting walk-through inspections and light hands-on checksEffective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendorsPreferredExperience using SAP, particularly maintenance or equipment modulesFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 17025 standardsBackground in calibration, maintenance planning, or EHS programsInterest in a stable, long-term part-time role Physical RequirementsAbility to walk throughout the facility for routine inspectionsAbility to handle and package small equipment for shippingCompliance with PPE and safety protocols as required
