B2B Collections Specialist - Part Time

B2B Collections Pro? Looking for a Part-Time Schedule?

We’re looking for an experienced B2B Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join a professional corporate accounting team on a part-time basis.

This position is focused on business-to-business collections, account reconciliation, resolving outstanding AR balances, and working directly with customers and internal teams to improve cash flow.

Important: Previous Business-to-Business (B2B) Accounts Receivable/Collections experience is required.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage collections on past-due B2B customer accounts
• Communicate with business customers by phone, email, and customer portals regarding outstanding balances
• Research and reconcile customer accounts and payment discrepancies
• Work with internal departments to resolve outstanding AR issues
• Process refunds, write-offs, and other accounting entries
• Process credit card payments and code incoming checks/cash payments
• Review shipping holds and assist with releasing orders
• Manage credit blocks and account-related issues
• Process customer requests, including W-9s, address changes, and statements
• Prepare and send monthly customer statements
• Prepare monthly AR aging reports and help track KPIs
• Document collection activity and maintain accurate account records

What We’re Looking For:

• 2 years of B2B Accounts Receivable/Collections experience required
• Experience collecting from business/commercial accounts rather than consumer accounts
• 2 years of ERP system experience
• 2 years of customer service experience
• Strong account reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable making collection calls and professionally following up on past-due balances
• Intermediate Excel and general Microsoft Office skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple customer accounts
• SAP experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule:
20–25 hours per week
Monday–Friday, scheduled within 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay:
$25–$28/hour
