Controller

A growing privately held company has an immediate need for an experienced Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This position reports directly to ownership and will be responsible for managing the accounting team, overseeing day-to-day financial activities, strengthening internal controls, and improving financial reporting and business analysis processes.

Responsibilities:

·  Day-to-day management of all accounting functions.

·  Drive month-end close activities to a timely and accurate result.

·  Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports.

·  Develop Budgets for different lines of business and Assets.

·  Analysis and develop Cash flow projections.

·  Identify and implement system and process improvements.

·  Document and develop workflows and accounting policies.

·  Ensure that all internal controls are documented and followed.

·  Responsible for all tax, external reporting, and audit functions.

·  Manage fixed asset accounting and capitalization policies.

·  Overseeing the Intuit QuickBooks Online system.

Requirements:

·  Accounting degree and CPA certified.

·  Expert in Intuit QuickBooks Online

·  Advanced in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 Suite.

·  Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements

·  Experience managing accounting staff and financial operations

·  Candidates will possess a minimum of 5-7 years expanding financial responsibility in the service industry.
