What You'll Do
- Originate, manage, and execute buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions for middle-market companies, PE sponsors, and founder-led businesses
- Advise private equity funds and portfolio companies on acquisitions, investments, and strategic transactions
- Manage deal teams and mentor associates across a growing LA corporate platform
- Collaborate with litigation, finance, real estate, and restructuring partners across the firm's national network
- Drive business development and help define the corporate practice's presence in the Southern California market
- 15 years of corporate transactional experience (required)
- Portable book of business of $1.5M with meaningful personal collections (~$1M preferred)
- Significant experience leading middle-market M&A transactions end-to-end
- Active CA bar or ability to waive in; PE experience and the ability to bring an associate or junior partner are strong pluses
