This opportunity is ideal for an analytics professional who thrives on transforming complex data into actionable business insights. The Analyst will partner with leadership to develop reporting solutions, evaluate business performance, identify operational opportunities, and support strategic initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and organizational success.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business performance, operational metrics, customer trends, and financial results to identify risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Create reporting methodologies and performance measurement frameworks.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Conduct benchmarking, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
- Validate reporting data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Monitor compliance gaps, audit findings, and remediation activities.
- Track strategic initiatives and communicate progress through executive reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement operational improvements.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and eliminate process waste.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend operational enhancements.
- Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Support reporting platforms and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in business analytics, strategy, performance management, or process improvement.
- 3 years of retail energy industry experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server with the ability to write SQL queries and develop reports.
- Experience developing KPIs, executive dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting.
- Knowledge of business performance analysis, forecasting, benchmarking, and root cause analysis.
- Experience supporting compliance tracking, audit reporting, and operational performance metrics.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of SAP, database concepts, or data modeling preferred.
- Experience presenting analytical findings and business recommendations to leadership.
