Industrial Maintenance Technician
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 12hr shifts rotating weekend, 5 day work week
Pay Rate: $23 to $35/hr (depending on experience)

Pridestaff, a national workforce solutions firm, is honored to partner with a fast-growing company in Vandalia, Ohio. Our client is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. They run a 24/7 production facility where your skills will directly impact the overall success of the company.
What You’ll Do
As a vital part of our maintenance team, you will report to the Maintenance and Plant Managers to keep the operation running smoothly. Your daily mission includes:
- Ensure Reliability: Maintain all equipment and utilities to ensure the production schedule is met.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Rapidly diagnose breakdowns and perform critical repairs.
- Preventive Maintenance: Carry out PM tasks and daily checklists to catch issues before they happen.
- Installations & Upgrades: Assist with the installation of new equipment and work alongside service technicians or contractors.
- Special Projects: Support mold and tooling changes as needed to keep lines versatile.
Who You Are
- Educated & Prepared: You have a High School Diploma or GED; technical training is a major plus.
- Experienced (Preferred): Ideally, you have 1–3 years of maintenance experience or 3–6 years operating injection molding equipment.
- Technically Minded: You can read schematics and drawings, and you possess strong analytical thinking skills.
- Safety Conscious: You have experience operating forklifts and aerial lifts.
- Physically Capable: You are comfortable lifting 50 pounds and working in a manufacturing environment that requires safety gear like hair nets and glasses.
Schedule & Requirements
- Flexible Hours: This role involves a five-day work week with required overtime.
- Rotating Shifts: Candidates must be comfortable with a schedule that includes days and 12-hour rotating weekends.
- Reliability: You must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a drug test and background check.
