Our amazing client in Reston, VA is looking for a Administrative Assistant to join their team! If you are a reliable, computer savvy, Jack/Jill of all trades who is comfortable with an all hands on deck approach this is the job for you.
Compensation: $23.00-$25.00
Location: Herndon, VA
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Enter data into the Company’s financial systems to record tenant cash receipts for properties managed by the Company.
- Scan invoices into accounting system, research balances due and mail checks to vendors.
- Complete bank reconciliations in the accounting system
- Maintain a variety of excel logs for equipment, employee purchases etc.
- Input employee timesheets into the financial system on a weekly basis.
- Provide administrative support to the construction division and accounting department
- Open, sort, and distribute mail on a daily basis.
- Perform such varied tasks as answering the main telephone number, directing calls, filing accounting records, maintain electronic files and performing varied administrative tasks.
Requirements :
- 1 year of practical office experience in a similar position.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel software.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
