Great temp to hire opportunity!!!! Pridestaff is currently seeking a Customer Service and Support Representative / Inside Sales for a warehouse located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.Pay Rate: $20 - $21 (depending on skill set, experience)Shift: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm, plus overtime as neededJob Description: Pridestaff is seeking a Customer Service and Support Representative to provide support to our client in the wholesale water industry at our Ontario, California location. As a Customer Service Representative, you will assist with essential daily needs, including answering phones, processing orders from customers, and making sure that product is ordered accurately. At time of hire the ideal candidate will handle detailed orders as well as being comfortable multi-tasking and developing relationships with customers.The Customer Service and Support representative will work closely with both the outside sales team and the back office, to ensure that orders are handled in a timely fashion. The primary duties would be to answer phones, identify and order product, provide quality customer service, and organize order paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion.Abilities and Responsibilities:Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external Customers.Support outside sales team by assisting in customer support and updating customer instructions.Create quotes for our sales team.Prepare orders to investigate meter related issues.Assist with invoicing as needed.Process Return Material Authorizations for products and supplies for warehouse and to ensure that they are processed in a timely manner.Assist with all other internal personnel with support as necessary.Review and respond to customer inquiries.Completes forms and reports as required by the company.Research customer records to resolve more difficult customer inquiries and prepare professional written correspondence in response detailing customer interaction.Assist other positions or work units with various support assignments or special projects on an as needed basis.Provide orientation and education for various types of equipment to customers. May also include instructions on replacing broken parts.Use systems for tracking, information gathering, or troubleshooting, and maintain records as appropriate.Gathering test result information provided from the manufacturer and our warehouse into excel format to provide with outgoing order.Other tasks may will/may be related to warehouse functions; such as scheduling/monitoring shipments to customer, assisting in counting inventory, and order fulfillment.Requirements:Proficiency in Outlook, MS Excel and Word programsKnowledge of an ERP system is preferredStrong attention to detailMinimum high school diploma/GED and equivalent experience of 3-7 years in an office environmentExperience in a distribution industry (e.g., electric utility, gas utility, etc.) is a plusIn this position candidates will be communicating with delivery companies, internal office staff, warehouse staff, and upper management.
