This may be the job for you.Packer w/ Forklift skills1st Shift / 3/4 Schedule / 6am-6pm$16/per hrGreer, SCPrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Packer / Forklift Operator on behalf of our client in the Greer, SC area.As a Packer / Forklift Operator, you will be responsible to accurately pick, pack, and prepare finished products for shipment to customers. The right candidate must be committed to safety, order accuracy, and efficient material handling throughout the warehouse.Packer / Forklift Primary Responsibilities include:Your main responsibility is the precise preparation and movement of finished goods, ensuring all orders are correctly staged and ready for transport.Picking & Packing: Accurately pick products according to order specifications; package materials to prevent damage during transit.Labeling & Documentation: Precisely label packaged boxes/products and complete necessary shipping documentation (travelers, manifests).Material Handling (Forklift): Safely operate a forklift (and/or pallet jack) to move materials, stage finished pallets, and load/unload trucks.Staging & Wrapping: Stack, wrap, and stage finished pallets securely in the designated shipping area.Quality Control: Inspect products and packaging for defects or errors before final staging and shipment.Inventory Support: Assist in organizing the warehouse and stockroom to maintain efficient flow and accurate inventory location.Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company safety guidelines, particularly concerning forklift operation and material handling.Packer / Forklift Desired Skills and Experience include:Prior experience in picking, packing, and shipping in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is required.Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift is highly preferred.Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Strong attention to detail for accurately labeling and packaging orders.Must be comfortable working with poly film and adhesive products.Demonstrated ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.Must be reliable and possess a strong commitment to warehouse safety.Join Us.PrideStaff Company OverviewPrideStaff (Greenville location) is a locally-owned staffing & placement firm with a strong reputation as a fun-loving, quality-focused service provider.PrideStaff is among the highest rated staffing agencies in the area.Company DescriptionPrideStaff is a national staffing organization, delivering innovative solutions to the challenges employers face every day.
