Centerless Grinder Operator
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 1st Shift, 6:00am-2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Location: Dayton, Ohio 45426

Centerless Grinder Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain centerless grinding machines to produce precision parts
- Set up and adjust grinding wheels, regulating wheels, and work rests
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of grinding equipment
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and any issues encountered
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow
- Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues
Centerless Grinder Operator Skills Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining preferred
- 2 years of experience operating centerless grinding machines
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Good mathematical skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with CNC programming is a plus
