We are currently seeking candidates for our Dayton, Ohio location for:
Surface Grinders - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts available
Flexible Schedules- Off Shift Incentives 15% shift differential - Benefits start Day One!
Requirements:
- Sets up and operate machines to grind parts to blueprint specifications.
- Fills out production paperwork and inspection procedures as required.
- Reports any problems or discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
- Maintains tools, gages and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
- Observes overall operation and performs regular daily maintenance on equipment and work area.
- Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety, quality, and attendance
- Willingness and capacity to learn more skills, including but not limited to CNC operation.
- Working in tight tolerance environment ( /- .0002) a plus
Advanced Requirements:
- Follows blueprints, job orders and written or verbal instructions for product specifications such as finishes, dimensions, tolerances and understands which grinding wheels to be used for different materials.
- Dresses wheels to specifications using dressing appropriate techniques.
