Medical Technologist

Pride Health is hiring for a Medical Technologist I to support our client’s facility at Tulsa, OK 74133. This is a direct hire, full-time opportunity offering excellent benefits, a stable schedule, and the chance to work with one of the state’s leading healthcare systems.

Job Summary

The Medical Technologist I is responsible for performing high-complexity laboratory testing to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patient conditions. This role requires independent judgment, strong analytical skills, and adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards within a hospital laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, analyze, and document laboratory specimens
• Perform and report analytical tests across multiple laboratory disciplines
• Interpret results, investigate discrepancies, and confirm abnormal findings
• Execute and document quality control procedures
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment
• Identify equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals
• Support laboratory goals through teamwork, service excellence, and process improvement
• Assist with training and educational support for Medical Laboratory Science students

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related biological/chemical science
• National certification as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist
• (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year of experience with high-complexity laboratory testing
• Strong computer and laboratory information system (LIS) skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Additional Information:

• Location: Tulsa, OK 74133
• Job Type: Direct Hire (Full-time)
• Shift: Nights | 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Schedule: Saturday – Wednesday (5x8s), weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Pay Range: $25 – $38/hour (based on experience)
• Benefits: Sign-On Bonus / Sign-On Bonus
