Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with deep expertise in end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including supplier data management, invoice processing, and payment execution. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, and advanced Excel analytics, along with a proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier master data in SAP and Ariba (W9, W8-BEN, ACH, 1099 compliance)
- Perform 2-way and 3-way matching (PO, invoice, receipts)
- Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments
- Conduct GR/IR reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate variances
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Collaborate with procurement, receiving, and finance teams
- Maintain AP documentation and ensure audit compliance
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Generate reports and perform data analysis using Excel
- Initiate voids and stop-payment requests
- Identify and implement process improvements in AP workflows
- Act as backup support for AP team members
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and customer service standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable (high-volume environment)
- Strong expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with:
- SAP S/4HANA (including PO matching and GR/IR reconciliation)
- SAP Ariba (Procurement and invoicing)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Complex formulas and data analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Fiori (Tile navigation vs GUI)
- Knowledge of 1099 reporting and regulatory compliance
- Experience in supplier data governance
