Responsibilities
- Process and review accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, coding, and approval workflows using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Workday.
- Manage accounts receivable activities by issuing invoices, tracking payments, and reconciling customer accounts with precision.
- Perform account reconciliations for general ledger accounts related to payables and receivables to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions, including journal entries, debits & credits, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies, process payments efficiently, and improve cash flow processes.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including data entry for journal entries and account analysis to support accurate financial reporting.
Experience
- Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable functions within a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, and journal entries.
- Familiarity with financial software such as QuickBooks is a plus.
- Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation and identifying discrepancies quickly.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
