About the Role
A growing, client-focused independent RIA is seeking a Client Service Associate to serve as the connective tissue between clients and the advisory team. This is a high-touch, relationship-driven role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in getting the details right, and genuinely enjoys supporting both clients and colleagues.
You'll work alongside Advisory, Investment Management, Financial Planning, and Client Services teams — contributing to client success, managing day-to-day operations, and owning key administrative and compliance functions.
What You'll Do
Client & Firm Support
- Answer calls, manage contacts and schedules, produce reports, and prepare presentation materials
- Maintain office files in accordance with firm and regulatory requirements
- Support marketing efforts and client events including newsletters, social media, and firm communications
- Process client paperwork through electronic signature systems in compliance with custodian requirements
- Quality-check and submit custodial items for processing
Advisory Support
- Participate in weekly Client Prep meetings to ensure teams are ready for upcoming client interactions
- Support client onboarding for financial planning and investment management
- Prepare back-office support for standard client account requests
- Gather and organize information needed for client advisory meetings
Compliance
- Support the firm's investment advisory compliance program
- Conduct routine compliance program testing
- Assist with additional compliance projects as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in a client service or financial services support role
- Proficiency in MS Office; general tech-stack comfort
- Knowledge of RIA operations, regulations, and compliance
- Strong communicator — verbal, written, and listening
- High integrity with the ability to handle confidential information daily
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize under pressure
- Calm and effective in a dynamic, fast-moving investment environment
