Overview:
- We are seeking a highly organized, analytical Project Manager (Contractor) to support the development, coordination, and execution of complex staffing plans across a large, matrixed organization.
- This role will partner closely with Business Management, Human Resources, Finance, and senior leaders to bring structure, transparency, and rigor to workforce planning, capacity analysis, and prioritization efforts.
- The ideal candidate brings a strong project management mindset, experience working with HR‑led staffing processes, and a passion for process improvement.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5 years of experience in project management, workforce planning, or business operations
- Experience partnering with HR on staffing and workforce planning
- Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience working closely with Human Resources on staffing, headcount, or workforce planning activities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience translating complex data into clear, structured, executive‑level outputs
- Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments with senior stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage end‑to‑end staffing plan development and refresh cycles, including timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder inputs
- Coordinate inputs across HR, Finance, and business leaders to ensure staffing plans are accurate, complete, and aligned to priorities
- Consolidate multiple staffing views into clear, executive‑ready artifacts (e.g., current state, demand, gaps, scenarios)
- Track staffing changes, assumptions, risks, and decisions to maintain a single source of truth
- Support capacity analysis and scenario planning, including trade‑offs between current resources and new requests
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline staffing workflows, templates, and governance
- Prepare summaries and materials for leadership reviews and decision forums
- Drive follow‑ups and action items to keep staffing initiatives moving forward on schedule
