Job Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Software & Calibration Engineer to support VR/AR device development and production calibration efforts. This role involves working at the intersection of software development, hardware validation, robotics automation, and experimental lab systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong C/C fundamentals, experience working with hardware systems, and familiarity with Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain data collection software and hardware systems
- Perform OS/firmware updates and integrate sensor components
- Conduct hardware bring-up and device functionality verification
- Modify, extend, and maintain existing calibration software (C/C )
- Develop automation scripts using Python and/or Bash
- Debug software issues and perform error analysis
- Design and execute experiments to validate product quality
- Commission and operate complex measurement and calibration equipment
- Support integration of research algorithms into production pipelines
- Document calibration processes and experimental procedures
- Estimate project timelines and coordinate with cross-functional teams
