What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Prestonwood Baptist Church?
Designs art and copy layouts for material to be presented by visual communications media at Prestonwood Baptist Church (PBC) and its entities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative solutions and designs for ministry communication tools

Arrange layouts for all forms of media, including but not limited to kiosks, banners, graphics, and various print formations based upon:
- available space
- knowledge of layout principles
- aesthetic design concepts
- Prepare multiple proofs based on graphic direction of ministries
- Design branding logos
- Review final layouts and suggest changes/improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching ministry
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts or other related field
- 5-10 years previous experience
- Demonstrated productive experience in a team-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced skills on a Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, In Design, Macromedia Studio, and pre-press requirements
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, and able to perform continuous, repetitive hand and finger movements over an extended period of time
