What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lighting & Production Specialist - North Campus position at Prestonwood Baptist Church?
Serves as the primary lighting designer and programmer, as well as auxiliary audio and video technician for Prestonwood Baptist Church – North Campus (“PBC-NC”).
Responsibilities:
- Program lighting cues weekly for services and events at PBC-NC
- Work closely with the Media Operations Director – NC to ensure appropriate style and quality consistency between campuses
- Work with the Lighting Engineer – PC to maintain and repair lighting instruments and lighting plots at PBC-NC venues
- Operate audio and/or video systems for events as needed
- Develop volunteers to assist in lighting across various venues
- Maintain a working knowledge of all audio and video systems at PBC-NC
- Assist the Media Team with events as needed at the Plano Campus
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as a member of PBC-NC

- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Three years of experience in lighting design and programming
- Working knowledge and experience on GrandMA3 consoles
- Working knowledge of various digital audio consoles
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work at a desk for extended periods of time and to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting up to 20 pounds without assistance, pushing/pulling a cart, standing, and use of stairs
- Ability to work a Sunday – Thursday schedule, including Wednesday evenings and flexibility to work Church scheduled events
