What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant to CLC - North Campus position at Prestonwood Baptist Church?
Provides administrative assistance to the Christian Learning Center (“CLC”) at Prestonwood Baptist Church – North Campus (“PBC – NC”).
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of CLC at PBC- NC, including answering phones, checking and responding to emails, drafting correspondence, and filing
- Maintain CLC materials, including registration packets
- Respond to inquiries about CLC, send registration packets, give tours, etc.
- Ensure enrollment paperwork is completed, notarized, and filed
- Assist with registration, tuition collection, and deposit reports
- Distribute information to classes and update classroom binders
- Prepare daily sign-in sheets, monthly roll-call sheets, etc.
- Train new employees
- Order, issue, and maintain file for staff access and badges
- Notify CLC Director of safety concerns and assist with first aid as needed
- Assist with security as needed
- Assist with room reservations, training preparation, meeting room needs, etc.
- Track CLC teachers’ lesson plans and newsletters
- Assist with monitoring resources and filling resource bins
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching ministry
- Prior administrative experience
- Experience in a preschool setting
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, detail oriented
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work a Tuesday/Thursday schedule plus one additional day each week
- Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 20 pounds without assistance
