What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Coordinator (Sundays) - North Campus position at Prestonwood Baptist Church?
Coordinates Preschool LifeGroups for three and four-year-olds at Prestonwood Baptist Church – North Campus (“PBC-NC”).
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and oversee Preschool volunteer teams for LifeGroups (three and four-year-olds)
- Plan and coordinate Preschool special events (i.e. Parents Night Out and Hosanna Parade) with the Preschool team
- Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
- Coordinate LifeGroup classrooms (three and four-year-olds)
- Train, encourage, and equip volunteer teams
- Purchase and prepare items for Sundays in Preschool
- Assist in onboarding of volunteers at Kidz Central when scheduled
- Schedule LifeGroup substitutes when scheduled
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-NC
- Must have a passion for children
- Experience in recruiting volunteers preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products
- Able to work Sundays and some hours every other Friday and Saturday, with flexibility for weekday shifts; able to cover some Wednesday nights when needed
- Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, use of stairs, and able to occasionally lift up to 30 Ibs.
