At Preston Ford of Aberdeen, we’re looking for a driven, customer-focused, road-ready Mobile Technician to join our elite service team. Our mobile techs are the face of our service department—trusted, skilled, and empowered.

You’ll travel to customers, businesses, and fleets in a fully equipped Ford Mobile Service Van, performing maintenance, diagnostics, recalls, repairs, and more—all while delivering an exceptional on-site experience.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in this role, applicants must meet the following:
Technical & Experience Requirements

Automotive technician experience (Ford experience preferred but not required)

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to perform maintenance, light repair, diagnostics, and recall work

Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures
-
Ability to use Ford IDS/FDRS diagnostic software (training provided)
Certification & Training Requirements

Must complete all Ford-required training and certifications, including:
- Ford STARS training
- Ford Mobile Service training modules
- Ford diagnostic and electrical training
- Ongoing Ford web-based and in-person training as released
- Ford STARS training
- Willingness to maintain and update certifications as Ford standards evolve
