Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial interiors, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols for mixing, application, and disposal to ensure a hazard-free environment
- Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning machinery to maintain floors in pristine condition
- Conduct sanitation procedures such as disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies to promote hygiene standards
- Using proper equipment without risk of injury
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial environments
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and chemical handling safety procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including and prolonged standing or walking
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or team members
- Experience with floor care equipment such as buffers and scrubbing machines is preferred
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and safety protocols in facilities maintenance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established procedures
