We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to collaborate with Agile teams and drive product development.
The ideal candidate will have experience in writing API-based user stories, working with delivery teams, and managing product backlogs.
This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Write API-based user stories and collaborate with software development teams.
- Work with medium-sized Agile teams (5 members) and contribute to planning events such as Sprint Planning and Program Increment (PI) Planning.
- Translate product roadmaps into manageable product backlogs in partnership with Product Managers and stakeholders.
- Own and prioritize the Team Backlog and define and accept user stories.
- Ensure Product Management has insights into product changes and backlog prioritization.
- Liaise with Product Managers to align features, product requirements, and sprint planning.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the product(s) and serve as a Subject Matter Expert to teams and external partners.
- Mentor junior Product Owners, fostering an Agile mindset and skill development.
- 3 years in an Agile environment with proven experience collaborating with Agile teams.
- 2 years in a Product Owner role, with expertise in writing business user and technical stories.
- 2 years of experience in a software development environment or working with delivery teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think upstream and downstream.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Ability to resolve team conflicts and work collaboratively in Agile settings.
- Agile certifications such as CSPO, A-CSPO, CBAP, or PO/PM.
- Airline industry experience.
- Experience mentoring junior Product Owners and cultivating team growth.
Salary : $55
