Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take drink and food orders with enthusiasm and accuracy, ensuring prompt service.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including food offerings, specials, and beverage selections to assist guests effectively.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met by following proper handling procedures and cleanliness protocols.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; perform cashiering duties including processing payments and giving change.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner to enhance their experience, handle inquiries professionally, and resolve any concerns promptly.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by monitoring guest consumption and refusing service when necessary.
- Assist in setting up event spaces or banquet areas as needed for special occasions or private functions.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Background in hospitality or food industry roles that involve serving food and beverages enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
