Starting Pay: $15.25/hour - $19.07/hour; Depending on experience

Southmont is a skilled nursing community on our Washington, PA campus. Our modern, home-like atmosphere provides a comfortable and secure healing environment. Arranged as neighborhoods, our skilled nursing areas offer a wide range of care programs and services for those in need of long-term care. Expert registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and social workers partner with residents, their families, and their doctors to provide personalized care plans. Southmont also provides short-term rehabilitation that can include physical, occupational, and/or speech therapies.
The Activities and Lifestyle Engagement Assistant is responsible for assisting in conducting and developing the (24-hour) lifestyle engagement program for residents. Implement activities assuring that each resident’s individual needs are met, maximizing resident strengths and abilities. Documents resident progress in accordance with all state, federal and departmental guidelines and regulations.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Prior experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Salary : $15 - $19
