Salary: $120,000 – $145,000
About the Role
We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and manage the data infrastructure that connects hospital systems, wearable devices, and multi-omics datasets. This role is central to ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable data flows across the Prepaire platform.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines for healthcare and omics data
- Design and manage data warehouses and data lakes
- Integrate data securely across clinical, wearable, and research sources
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and internal data governance standards
- Partner with analytics, ML, and product teams to enable data-driven insights
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with Spark, Kafka, or similar data processing frameworks
- Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or comparable cloud platforms
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as FHIR and HL7
Education & Experience
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
