The Licensed Plumber plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity and comfort of Premium Property Management’s residential and commercial portfolio. This position delivers expert installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems while upholding the highest standards of workmanship, code compliance, and exceptional customer service that reflect our commitment to quality spaces and tenant satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties, including new construction, remodels, and service calls.
- Diagnose issues efficiently and recommend cost-effective repairs or replacements that enhance property value.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and Premium Property Management standards.
- Provide professional, courteous communication with tenants, property managers, contractors, and team members.
- Complete detailed work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean, safe, and operational condition.
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current Alabama Journeyman or Master Plumber License (required).
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems and applicable codes.
- Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience in multifamily, historic, or mixed-use properties preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Comfort working in confined spaces, climbing, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
