The Licensed Electrician ensures safe, reliable, and efficient electrical systems across Premium Property Management’s diverse portfolio of historic and modern properties. This role combines technical expertise with a commitment to quality workmanship and outstanding service to support environments where residents and businesses can thrive.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Install or replace wiring, lighting, panels, breakers, outlets, switches, and other electrical components.
- Perform inspections and identify opportunities for improvements that enhance safety and efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with the National Electrical Code, local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with tenants, managers, contractors, and team members.
- Complete accurate work orders, reports, and documentation.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in excellent condition.
- Participate in training and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential and commercial electrical experience.
- Valid Alabama electrical license/certification as required by state and local regulations.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with historic buildings or multifamily properties a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
