IT Support Technician
Immediate contract to hire opportunity for an IT Support Technician to provide exceptional technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware, software, and peripherals. Support will be provided via remote support to include phone, email, and messaging applications when applicable and requires responding to, documenting, and resolving service tickets in a timely manner.
IT Support Technician Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users via phone, remotely, or messaging applications
- Use problem-solving skills to diagnose, evaluate, and resolve complex problems or escalate them to the appropriate group
- Support multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, POS, mobile devices, proprietary software, and basic networking equipment
- Support of Windows, Microsoft, and Active Directory
- Maintain a high degree of customer service and adhere to all service management principals
IT Support Technician Requirements
- Must have an Associate's degree or higher
- A Computer or Network Computer Certification preferred
- Experience with Operating Systems- Windows and Mac
- Phone support experience preferred
- Entry level knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with MS Office and Active Directory preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- High sense of urgency
