Location: Resort Portofino Resort
Department: Food and Beverage
Status: Seasonal
Pay Rate: $10.98 plus gratuity
Hours/Days: Sunday - Monday 10 AM - 4 PM, 4 PM - 10 PM.
Required to deliver prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly food and beverage service while delivering an exceptional dining experience. Able to guide guests through our menus and beverage service while delivering an exceptional dining experience. Able to serve guests through our menus.
- Summary of the main function/purpose of the position:
A server is expected to exceed guests' and homeowners' expectations by providing timely service, attentiveness to guests’ needs, and making guests feel welcome and relaxed while visiting our restaurants. He/she is also responsible for acquiring full knowledge of the menu to provide excellent customer service.
- Key Principal duties/responsibilities:
- Complete the opening/closing checklist
- Follow the company’s non-negotiables by greeting and welcoming guests
- Know all food/drink items
- Process credit card and room charges through a point-of-sale system
- Clear and clean tables as guests finish up their meals
- Keep the surrounding areas clean
- Full knowledge of state liquor laws
- Be familiar with the Microcomputer system
- Ensure guest satisfaction
- Paying extreme attention to detail while taking orders from guests
- Ensure prepared orders are accurate and delivered on time
- Upsell and relay all specials
- Serve guest orders by retrieving and delivering from the bar or kitchen, along with condiments and cutlery needed.

V. Educational and/or equivalent in experience requirements:
Previous serving experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Specialized or technical educational requirements:
Knowledge of POS systems is preferred.
Certification or licensing requirements:
Already have the ability to undergo SafeServ Certification.
