Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, including orientation and training programs
- Coordinate and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Participate in budget development and management to ensure efficient use of resources
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including staffing patterns, patient data, and nursing outcomes
- Current New York State RN licensure
- 2 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
