RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, including orientation and training programs
Coordinate and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
Participate in budget development and management to ensure efficient use of resources
Maintain accurate records and reports, including staffing patterns, patient data, and nursing outcomes
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Requirements:
Current New York State RN licensure
2 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
