Registered Nurse (RN) Rehab Unit Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring that residents receive individualized care to meet their unique needs and goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address resident needs, developing strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Monitor and evaluate resident care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance quality and efficiency
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, progress, and outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including auditing and reporting, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
- Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective allocation of staff
- Current New York State RN license
- Prior experience in a related healthcare setting
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
