YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR STAFF ACCOUNTANT

As a Staff Accountant at Premier Group, you handle a variety of responsibilities. You diligently complete all bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in every detail. This includes producing detailed monthly financial packages, generating indirect cost reports and dashboards for management review, and managing monthly bank statements, credit card statements, and payroll reports. You are dedicated to ensuring proper coding of all transactions and reconciling various accounts, as well as handling client monthly invoicing and creating and balancing indirect cost reports. Additionally, you contribute to internal audit activities, review and analyze financial data, and efficiently address client issues. In this collaborative environment, you provide regular communication with the senior accounting associate and work closely with the accountant to support financial goals.

This hybrid position perfectly complements your work-life balance, allowing you to work in office for two days and remote for three days.

Here's what we need from you:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, audit, or finance
• 1 years of experience
• Experience as a staff accountant with a focus on month-end processes and internal audit
• Live in the Maryland area
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Being CPA certified is highly preferred.
