We are seeking a Merchandising Assistant. Responsible for assisting the Merchandiser in implementation and execution of seasonal business strategies that meet or exceed financial goals. They perform daily activities that support the merchandising strategies and assist in the creation of a compelling product presentation that will inspire the customer to buy. They also build strong partnerships with other members of the cross-functional team and brand counterparts.

• Organize and maintain all samples for markets, accounts, PR, advertising and archives.
• Accountable for all internal information to be correct and completed on time in regards to line plans, order forms, line books, SAP maintenance.
• Updates and maintains all necessary brand account systems and style setup files.
• Analyze selling on a continuous basis and report findings to the team and management.
• Knowledge of product flow and ability to execute lines to positive, meaningful flow at retail among a variety of scenarios.
• Merchandise and maintain a compelling showroom for accounts.
• Awareness of fashion trends and jewelry competition.
• In depth knowledge of social media.
• Ability to understand line plans, product plans, as well as overall process of merchandising from market to market.
• Ability to understand environmental factors in relationship to performance of brand.
• Accountable to help manage internal relationship of product development team (Design,PD, Production) as well as Sales team relationship.
• Accountable to work well with internal team as well as external teams.

• Financial acumen and understanding of building a line in relationship to the brand's OTB.
• Ability to problem, solve and mitigate issues before creating consequences.
• Understand how to properly build a line as well as understand competition in your environment.
• Recognizing best and worst sellers and reacting to future development in either situation.

Salary Range: $45K - $50K*Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
