Primary Function
- Act as liaison to all churches participating in the annual Baby Bottle Campaigns
- Oversee the distribution and collection of all baby bottles during each campaign.
- Oversee all Baby Bottle Campaign volunteers
- Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers and staff to speak at churches who request speakers for their campaign.
- Make budget goals by strengthening & maintaining relationships with BBC Churches
- Acquire minimum of 4 new churches/year to participate in BBC program
Principal Duties
- Initiate calls to all participating churches for each campaign to identify number of bottles needed and to see if speaker is needed. Set dates for distribution of bottles at beginning of campaign and pick up funds and empty bottles at end of campaign.
- At end of each campaign, obtain required signatures and from Church representatives acknowledging collection of funds
- At end of each campaign, in the company of a second Care Net employee/volunteer, empty bottles, sort donations and track by church/organization. Bag all coins collected, and tally checks and bills collected on log sheets according to church/organization. Deliver tally sheet, checks and bills to Finance Assistant making certain to organize by church/organization.
- Relabel empty bottles and deliver to storage in preparation for next campaign.
- Monitor supply of bottles and place order when necessary.
- Contact everyone on speaker list and recruit for those BBC churches that have requested speakers 2-3 weeks before the speaking engagement.
- Coordinate and confirm communication between speakers and churches
- All other duties as assigned
