Job Summary
Powell Valley Millwork is seeking a plant-focused HR Manager to lead all People & Organization and safety-related activities across two manufacturing locations in Kentucky. This role is primarily based in Clay City, with regular onsite presence in Jeffersonville.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary onsite HR partner supporting production employees and plant leadership across both locations.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and committees to promote communication, involvement, and positive workplace culture.
- Coordinate with the Safety Manager for the employees a safety-first culture, maintain OSHA compliance, and coordinate required safety training and reporting.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and production roles, including postings, interviews, and hiring events.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and follow-up to ensure new employees are successfully integrated.
- Administer employee benefits programs and support employees with enrollment, changes, and leave processes.
- Support attendance tracking, disciplinary processes, and resolution of employee relations issues.
- Coordinate with the employees the corporate activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years HR experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Additional Information
- Occasional travel required
- PPE required on production floor
- Limited on-call availability

Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
