Position Overview
Positive Pathways, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable iCare Trainer to assist with day-to-day support of the iCare electronic documentation system. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate data entry, system compliance, and timely resolution of staff questions related to iCare usage.
The ideal candidate is organized, patient, technically capable, and able to communicate clearly with direct care staff and leadership.
️ Key Responsibilities
- Provide frontline support to staff using the iCare system, including troubleshooting basic issues and answering usage questions
- Assist with accurate data entry, corrections, and record maintenance in iCare
- Monitor documentation for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
- Support staff with navigation of iCare modules related to notes, incidents, medications, and services
- Escalate system issues or errors to supervisors or IT support as needed
- Assist with onboarding support related to iCare system access and basic training
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and agency policies
- Generate basic reports or audits as requested by leadership
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, residential staff, and administrative teams
✅ Required Qualifications
- Prior experience using iCare or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred
- Strong computer skills and comfort navigating multiple systems
- Professional-level proficiency in English, including strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential programs preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, and responsive to staff support needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting DSP or residential counseling staff
- Familiarity with DDA regulations and documentation requirements
- Basic understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
