What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Consultant (1 Yr Min Exp Req) position at Positive Pathways?
We are seeking a Behavior Consultant (a 1099 Contractor) who works with individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Must reside in Indiana.

Job requirements (Per Indiana Medicaid Waiver requirements):
- Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or ABA.
Pay range:
- $50-60 hour, based on Indiana Medicaid Waiver Behavioral Support experience, along with experience developing and implementing Behavior Support Plans.
Position responsibilities include:
- Developing a Functional Behavioral Assessment and Support Plan
- Supporting clients in their homes and in the community
- Participating in team meetings to support the client
Flexible position:
- Coordinate your schedule with the client/their guardian or caregivers; and
- Work from your home office; and
- Visit clients in their homes and communities, either in your county and/or the surrounding counties of choice
Positive Pathways operates throughout the state of Indiana. Positions are available in several counties; however, the current areas of need are Marion, Hamilton, Hendricks, Johnson, and Hancock counties.
- This position starts as part-time, and a caseload grows over time.
- Willingness to travel in your county and surrounding counties can help you grow your caseload to full-time.
- Prefer after-school hour availability, but not a requirement.
