What You’ll Do
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls related to delinquent accounts and general service inquiries.
- Manage collections activities — negotiate payment arrangements, resolve billing/credit issues, and follow up on past-due accounts.
- Adhere to call scripts and compliance guidelines while maintaining professionalism.
- Ensure one-call resolution whenever possible, offering solutions and alternatives to customers.
- Assist with overflow customer service calls during peak volume.
- Accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics.
- Build positive customer relationships by demonstrating empathy, patience, and problem-solving.
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of experience in collections, loan servicing, or customer service (auto finance, credit union, or banking industry preferred).
- Proven ability to handle delinquent accounts/payment-related queries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and active listening skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced call center environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Genesys, Five9, or similar).
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus.
