We’re looking for a social media & marketing intern who can help bring PLUG’s voice, story, and brand to life. This isn’t a “just schedule posts” kind of role — it’s for someone who loves experimenting with content, testing what resonates, and turning loose ideas into compelling stories across platforms. If you’re creative, adaptable, and excited to shape a brand that’s still evolving, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Create and experiment with content that helps founders discover PLUG — from posts to videos to lightweight campaigns
- Work directly with the Founder/CEO to translate raw ideas, conversations, and moments into engaging marketing
- Test content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and email to see what actually drives interest
- Help refine PLUG’s brand voice and visual identity as we learn what resonates
- Track performance, gather insights, and pitch fresh content concepts
- Collaborate with the GTM and product intern to turn product updates and founder learnings into stories that connect
- Stay on top of trends, formats, and cultural moments worth tapping into
Ideal Background
- Undergraduate students studying Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field
- Creative thinkers who love storytelling, social media culture, and content experimentation
- Comfortable producing scrappy, fast-turnaround content using whatever tools you already use
- Strong writing and editing skills — you can capture a vibe in a sentence
- Curious, flexible, and excited to try new formats, styles, and strategies
- Interested in startups, creator culture, and building brands from scratch
