What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flexo Press Operator position at PLPS (Overnight Labels)?
We are seeking a qualified Flexo Press Operator to set up, adjust, maintain, and operate our printing press.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses
- Review job orders to make necessary adjustments to the printing machines
- Install components and supplies, such as ink rollers, and printing plates, according to job specifications
- Test inks and paints on the printing surface to ensure their suitability
- Oversee the production of printed materials, including the printing and racking processes, to ensure they meet specifications and are completed on schedule.
- Performing routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, including addressing abnormal noises.
- Clean the printing press and its peripherals.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in reading and understanding English.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
