What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Technician position at PLPS ( Overnight Labels )?
We seek a Quality Assurance Inspector with at least 2 years of experience in quality . The inspector will assist the Quality Manager in ensuring timely, accurate, and thorough monitoring and reporting.
Job Duties:
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform daily pre-operational cleaning inspections and verify process and finished product quality. Monitor and ensure that personnel are following GMP. Record keeping. Label-count verification. Verify that the finished product meets customers’ specifications and Overnight Labels LLC quality standards. Assist in investigating customer complaints regarding discrepancies. Provide Training to personnel on proper work practices. Perform other related duties as assigned by Q.A. Manager. Inspect all labels before shipment, identify defects (e.g., incorrect label information, color inaccuracies, label count, Rewind direction), and ensure correction. Verify job titles and categories for accuracy. Upon successful inspection, complete requisite documentation. Complete pre-run and end-run evaluation procedures, ensuring all required paperwork is complete. Documentation Verification is performed Daily.

Education/Experience: High school education (graduate or GED preferred); up to one month of related experience or Training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write simple sentences. Some knowledge of Spanish is helpful.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Applying common sense understanding to complete simple one- or two-step instructions.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
