Press Break Operator

We are seeking a skilled Amada Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication department. In this role, you will set up and operate Amada CNC press brakes to fabricate custom sheet metal components, concrete mold tooling, machine guards, and structural replacement parts used in our high-capacity hardscape manufacturing processes.

salary: $72,000 - $85,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate Amada CNC press brakes (e.g., HG, HDS, or FAB Series) to form sheet metal and plate parts according to engineering specs.

• Select, align, install, and adjust appropriate tooling, dies, and back gauges based on material thickness, bend angles, and radius requirements.

• Read and interpret fabrication blueprints, engineered drawings, and flat pattern layouts.

• Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections using calipers, protractors, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure precise tolerances.

• Perform routine daily maintenance on the press brake equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Collaborate with the welding and tool maintenance teams to support custom mold and facility machine parts fabrication.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
