What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finishing Press Operator position at Cris Ray Printing Corp?
We are a family-owned printing company in Farmingdale looking for someone with machinery/mechanical interests. The position is for an entry level Label and Print Converter/Finisher and will entail top coating and die cutting labels and packaging. We will train you on all procedures, equipment, and standards. Any machinery experience is a plus!
Qualifications:
Prior experience with machinery or mechanics
Willingness to learn
Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds daily
Must be able to read a ruler and work with both US and metric measuring systems
Must be able to read and write English
Must have reliable transportation to get to the shop daily and on time
Responsibilities:
Operate machinery in a safe and effective manner and adhere to work safety practices
Perform machinery setups to job specifications
Maintain quality control throughout job runs
Maintain machinery and equipment and keep the work area clean and organized
Keep detailed notes of job history and machine maintenance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
