Compensation
💰 $95,000 – $120,000 base OT bonus
Key Responsibilities
Case Management
- Track client document submissions and IRS responses
- Coordinate document collection via platforms like OneDrive/HighQ
- Manage IRS audit trackers and litigation tracking workflows
- Submit and monitor filings with the IRS
Trial & Litigation Support
- Calendar statute deadlines and court filings
- Prepare exhibits, appendices, and filing materials
- Track opposing counsel filings and maintain pleading files
- Support attorneys with complex factual organization
Document Drafting & Production
- Draft and proofread legal documents using firm templates
- Prepare tax structure charts and exhibits
- Assemble filings and coordinate physical/electronic submissions
- Leverage AI tools to streamline IRS response templates
Legal Research
- Monitor developments in tax legislation and case law (including ERC matters)
- Compile statutes, regulations, and IRS guidance
- Utilize AI tools to enhance tax research accuracy
Filings & Regulatory Support
- Prepare federal/state powers of attorney and file with CAF
- Obtain IRS transcripts and state records
- Conduct SOS and compliance searches
What They’re Looking For
- 5–10 years of paralegal experience, ideally within tax or litigation
- Strong experience with IRS processes, filings, or regulatory work
- High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills across attorneys, clients, and internal teams
- Familiarity with e-filing systems and document management tools
- Experience or interest in AI-driven legal workflows is a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
