Role Description The Mechanical Engineer will work on-site in Pleasant Prairie, WI in a full-time capacity, supporting the design, optimization, and maintenance of equipment and vehicle transport systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing mechanical design and analysis for truck haul, carhaul, specialized transport, and lowboy equipment, and developing improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency. The role involves creating and updating CAD models and engineering drawings, collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to address mechanical issues, and supporting the implementation of new equipment or modifications. The Mechanical Engineer will participate in research and development activities, manage small to medium engineering projects, coordinate with vendors and manufacturing partners, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.

- Research and Development (R&D) capabilities to investigate new technologies, materials, and design improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of transportation, automotive, or heavy equipment industries is beneficial.
- Understanding of applicable safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Pleasant Prairie, WI and occasionally in field conditions around vehicles and equipment.
